What’s more, Sofitel Singapore Sentosa is set atop a cliff rising above Tanjong Beach, providing you with panoramic views of the South China Sea and stunning sunset views on the horizon. The view is made even better by the resort’s intricate Balinese-inspired design, blended with Singapore’s colonial heritage, bringing forth a unique ambience you will not see anywhere else island-wide.

A luxurious and intimate getaway in Sentosa

Villa du Jardin offers incredible comfort and privacy in the midst of lush greenery, so staying here with your family will have you set for a truly luxurious and intimate getaway in Sentosa. Based on our recent experience, Sofitel Singapore Sentosa really values your privacy, as if you are in your own little world. You will not need to visit the main resort every time as you can actually drive in and park your car right in front of the villa. 

We find this absolutely convenient, especially when you have lots of kids and luggage in tow. Further, the resort staff went out of their way by providing us with a resort phone that we can use 24/7 to call the manager on duty. We rarely had to leave the villa as they provided us with everything we needed for our comfortable stay, giving us more time to explore our villa’s amenities. 

The stunning Villa du Jardin was incredibly spacious. There were 2 bedrooms, massive bathrooms, a living and dining room area with a private pool – it was quite perfect for our little family. There was also a Pharo massage-jet whirlpool in the master bathroom, which we enjoyed very much. Above all, what we really appreciated during our stay was how we had a huge pool to ourselves – we got to swim anytime we wanted! We even brought our own floats, and thoroughly enjoyed frolicking by the pool with our little bundles of joy.

Sofitel Singapore Sentosa is indeed an oasis of lush greenery. That being said, it comes as no surprise that our villa often got visits from Sofitel’s resident peacocks and peahens. We are even blessed to see an actual peacock mating dance, which we got to watch through the glass doors of our comfortable, air-conditioned villa. It was quite surreal an experience! 

A myriad of indulgent cuisines 

In terms of hospitality, Sofitel Singapore Sentosa does not cut corners. They love to spoil every guest to bits! They can even bring daily breakfast down to the villa, saving you the hassle of walking or getting a buggy to the resort’s restaurants every morning. You simply have to give the duty manager a call, and order the various breakfast sets the evening before.

But then, if you want the full Sofitel experience, we highly suggest that you explore the myriad of restaurants inside the resort. Treat your tastebuds to a complete gastronomic adventure, from regional delicacies to international favourites, all served up with a dash of French hospitality. We liked the food at The Cliff, which offers exquisite Italian cuisine. Our top picks would be the Beef Cheek, Pumpkin Soup, and the Mushroom & Caramelised Onion Pizza. You can even pair these sumptuous dishes with wine!

If you prefer Pan-Asian or Indian flavours, head over to Kwee Zeen. I would recommend trying out their Laksa, and my favourite – Salted Egg Prawn Balls. Really delicious!

Overall, Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa provided us with one of the most relaxing staycations we have ever had in Singapore. Spending time with nature in complete privacy with just our family (and some peafowls!) is simply incredible. To add, Sofitel provided us with the utmost care and gastronomic delights during our stay as well. We have been to Sofitel thrice already, and will definitely come back in the future! 

2. Resorts World Sentosa 3-Bedroom Villa

Indeed, you will find a home away from home inside this 477 sqm, 3-bedroom villa in Resorts World Sentosa. Not only does the room offer luxury at its finest, but also impeccable comfort as Resorts World put a lot of thought into the details. For instance, we love how you are assured of superior slumber with the bed’s goose feather pillows, luxe mattresses, and a 400-thread count Egyptian cotton bed linen. And after a good night’s sleep, you can relax in your private sundeck with the priceless sight of the sea or lush greenery. On top of that, Resorts World’s service is also commendable. In particular, they offer a 24-hour butler service, laundry or dry cleaning services, and above all, a 24-hour in-room dining menu. 

Besides that, every villa has elegant bathroom amenities, rain showers, and a free-standing tub that boasts nothing short of grandeur. Moreover, a steam shower is available in the master’s bedroom where you can fully relax. However, if you are more into massages, a massage room is also at your disposal. But have we mentioned that there are three televisions inside the hotel villa? You will undoubtedly enjoy the 50-inch Plasma TV in the living room, the 42-inch Plasma TV in the bedroom, and a 22-inch LED TV in the bathroom! And fret not, as every television comes with an extensive collection of the latest movies and radio channels to ensure your entertainment.

In particular, you will be 12 metres above the ground, tucked safely in a canopy of native trees. A spacious living room, an en-suite bedroom, a walk-in wardrobe, as well as a private outdoor terrace await you in this exclusive and private villa. Who knew a treehouse could offer that much luxury, right? But above all, we find it commendable how guests are treated with five-star comfort and given superb amenities. With everything mentioned and personal butler service, you will undoubtedly savour every moment while immersed in nature.

What is more, each of the sanctuaries is said to have separate pavilions for the living area, bedrooms, and an outdoor pool with astounding scenery.
