4. W Singapore – Sentosa Cove, Marvelous Suite
Going on a staycation with a baby can be somewhat tricky, but with W Singapore – Sentosa Cove, they really made our lives way easier. Set amidst the lush greenery and lively coast of Sentosa, W Singapore is your modern luxurious escape from the everyday bustling of the city.
Spacious suite with a marvellous view
Seriously.. the view was beyond incredible! We stayed in Marvelous Suite 602 (I highly recommend requesting this particular suite), a corner suite with a panoramic view of W Singapore’s iconic WET Pool plus a sea of berthed private yachts. As soon as we entered the room, we were welcomed with gorgeous W helium balloons and petals all over our bed. The balloons were tied together using an adorable rubber ducky, which was our baby Ally’s very first bath toy! Definitely very thoughtful from our gracious hosts at W, which we very much appreciated.
The suite is pretty spacious, around 80 square meters, which is perfect for us, our baby Ally, and our helper. If you are travelling with the whole fam, we highly recommend the Marvelous suite because of the size and incredible view that it can offer. It is especially great if you have a baby so you can choose between safe co-sleeping or sleeping in separate rooms (perfect if you prefer privacy as some suites do not have doors to separate the bedroom and living room). They even provided a baby cot for our little one and a rollaway bed for our helper.
The bathroom was incredibly luxurious as well, with a modern tub in which you can soak while watching TV for the ultimate relaxation. We also love the outdoor rattan sofa at the roomy L-shaped balcony – great to relax and unwind with your partner and little one!
After unwinding for a bit, we headed straight into the WET® Pool. As one of Singapore’s largest resort outdoor pool areas, you can only expect that comes with every dip. Baby Ally had a blast, not to mention the fun slide for both kids and adults! If you are not in the mood for some water action, you can just soak up the sun by just relaxing on a pool float or a canopied sun lounger. The WET® Pool is also accessible 24 hours a day and 7 days a week!
Make sure that you stay on the poolside until after dark. The sunshine will be replaced by an illuminated deck of gorgeous hues that also cast a magical glow on the water. So romantic!
Luxurious experience all throughout
On top of our comfortable suite and the grand resort amenities, what we enjoyed the most during our stay was the exceptional service throughout. We would like to especially thank Rooban and Raymond from the kitchen table for their exceptional hospitality and taking really good care of us, and Tan from the WOOBAR for excellent service when we had our afternoon tea.
The ala carte buffet breakfast on the following morning was also very notable. With their new Executive Chef Henry Jordan at the helm refreshing their breakfast menu, the spread was really delicious, with generous servings of everything. We’d definitely love to go back for more of their Singapore laksa, crab cakes eggs benedict, and pecan pie pancakes!

5. One-Bedroom Premium Suite, Pan Pacific Serviced Suites on Beach Road
Luxurious hotel suite perfect for long-term stays in Singapore
You might see a lot of Pan Pacific buildings in Singapore, but for an extended stay in the Lion City, Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Beach Road stands out as the top choice. Offering both daily and monthly leases, this hotel allows you to save on hotel rental costs without compromising on the luxurious benefits of a 5-star hotel experience. The perks are abundant, from daily housekeeping service and complimentary continental breakfast to the comfort of well-appointed suites filled with modern amenities.
The thoughtful layout resembles that of a regular apartment. The kitchen is fully-equipped, complete with a filtered drinking water faucet, microwave oven, induction cooktop, and a Nespresso® machine. There is even a washer and dryer! The highlight, however, is undoubtedly the living room, adorned with a cosy couch and a large TV, creating the perfect space to unwind and relax after a day out in the city. And if you chose to stay in a One-Bedroom Premium Suite, the living room will also come with the most perfect view of the stunning Singapore skyline. The view is especially beautiful at night, as you can even see the Singapore Flyer light up in all its beautiful colours. Though if you want to enjoy the views further, you may go up to the hotel’s rooftop pool to do so and unwind. The ambience there is so relaxing, plus you can also do hydrotherapy with the exercise machines in the pool.
Reminds you of home
Additionally, Pan Pacific Serviced Suites offers plenty of amenities to make your stay enjoyable. There is an exclusive Living Room for its residents where you can enjoy a friendly game of pool or a reading session in the mini library. Additionally, the hotel provides an espresso machine, so you can relish in a fresh cup of espresso machine whenever you want. For fitness enthusiasts, Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Beach Road also offers a 24-hour fitness centre complete with state-of-the-art gym equipment.
Meanwhile, the complimentary breakfast they provide is amazing. They regularly change the menu, so you will not have the same thing every day, which is great if you plan on staying for a long time. They have an eggs station too, so be sure to order their Eggs Benedict. Their sumptuous breakfast is perfectly complemented by the staff – they are really warm and kind. Indeed, Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Beach Road makes you feel welcome and right at home.

6. The St. Regis Singapore, Caroline Astor Suite
Experience regal care in an opulent suite
The Caroline Astor Suite of The St. Regis Singapore is everything you imagine when you think of the word ‘opulence’. After all, the hotel suite took inspiration from the mansion of the grand matriarch of The St. Regis’ founding family. The Caroline Astor suite was elegantly furnished and comes with many luxurious amenities including a well-suited marble bathroom, a king-sized bed, a minibar, and a whole lot more. Our favourite spot, though, was the spacious living room where massive floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the iconic Singapore Botanic Gardens in its true splendour.
We celebrated my birthday at the hotel and the welcome set-up in our Caroline Astor suite was amazing. The St. Regis Singapore provided us with decor and amenities for the special occasion, which they placed in the living room, which they placed all of them in the living room. When we arrived, we did not know which one to be in awe of at first – the elaborate welcome tokens or the mesmerising views behind them.
Butlers from St. Regis are well-known for offering legendary handcrafted service to all guests, with no request too unattainable or small to fulfill. We also knew this, but we were still pretty pleased when we asked our butler for an HDMI cable to screen movies from our laptop and they provided it as soon as possible. Really great attentive service!
Delightful tea affair
Another highlight of our stay at The St. Regis Singapore was our Afternoon Tea at Brasserie Les Saveurs. A birthday celebration would not be complete without a celebration tea! It came in a really beautiful pot and every sip was quite delightful. If not a fan of white tea (it can be too light-tasting for some), Brasserie Les Saveurs also offer other floral and herbal tea options. But if you are looking for something new, I highly recommend that you try out their sparkling tea selections and get the alcoholic variant if you can.
Afternoon tea also came with an assortment of desserts, light scones, and other savoury bites. The savoury items were good, especially the Smoked Salmon & Sour Cream Opera and Poached Egg with Pumpkin Velouté and Roasted Pumpkin Seeds. Definitely a must-try!
Breakfast was just as good as our afternoon tea experience. The Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon that I have tried was exemplary. To add, there is also a beautiful pastry section where you can load up with carbs and sugar to fuel you up through the day.

7. JW Marriott Singapore South Beach, Premier Suite
Looking for a quick break from the hustle and bustle of the city? JW Marriott Singapore South Beach provides a serene home away from home with its luxurious and comfortable hotel suites, scenic sky gardens, modern swimming pools, unique dining destinations, and many more. The hotel is also situated right in the heart of Singapore’s art and culture district, so the city is literally just on your doorstep if you want to explore the world outside.
We enjoyed a lovely staycation at the JW Marriott Singapore South Beach’s Deluxe Suite. The hotel suite was really luxurious and fitted with a full array of modern amenities and smart technology. The view from the suite was also really great – you’d have the perfect access to the cityscape. We heard that the Premier Suite is even more luxurious!
And of course, our suite also had JW Marriott’s signature unique ‘floating’ beds, luxury beddings, designer furnishings, and marble bathrooms. We also appreciated how we were welcomed with delish and adorable chocolate treats as soon as we arrived. Every bite was honestly a delight!
Exclusive lounge access and other luxurious amenities
Booking the suite also comes with exclusive access to the Executive Lounge, which includes complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea. The lounge food was great and the food spread was very generous. Moreover, the Executive Lounge serves cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the evening. So if you are a cocktail lover like us, you will definitely enjoy the free-flowing cocktails there; they have the classic Old Fashioned, Tequila Sunrise, and many more!
The delectable food did not stop at the Executive Lounge, as JW Marriott Singapore is also home to 3 stylish restaurants, each offering a distinct yet sophisticated fare. You may head over to Akira Back for modern Japanese cuisine with Korean accents, Beach Road Kitchen for international and local signatures showcased on an experiential Chefs-on-Show buffet, and Tonic to cap the night with an artisan gin-based drink. For more options, do also check out The NCO Club – an ultimate lifestyle-entertainment destination right beside the hotel.
For those who truly want relaxation, head over to JW Marriott’s newly-reopened Spa by JW., which promises to deliver luxurious yet purposeful treatments designed to address four core benefit states: Calm, Indulge, Invigorate, and Renew. Though there are many things to try, we highly recommend their Signature Massage – a 60-min multi-sensory journey for the utmost relaxation.
With sustainability initiatives
What we also appreciate about JW Marriott Singapore South Beach is how they prioritise sustainability in their hotel operations. Not only that, the hotel’s building is actually an award-winning ecological architecture highlighted by the microclimatic canopy that connects the entire 3.5-hectare property together. This canopy allows the hotel to harvest rainwater for its sky gardens and save on electricity by converting solar energy (also thanks to the hotel’s glass facade), at the same time, providing pedestrians with a naturally ventilated shelter. It looks really beautiful, too!

8. Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa
With Sentosa’s wide array of sandy beaches and grand resorts, it can often be difficult to pick one to go to for the ultimate staycation. But if you really want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, we highly recommend Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa to be one with nature. At Sofitel, you and your family would be able to immerse in a haven of peace and tranquillity – your home away from home.
Infinite Experiences for a hassle-free and completely relaxing holiday
Just recently, our family stayed in one of Sofitel’s junior suites with Infinite Experiences. This package is inclusive of a one-night stay at the hotel, free breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as bicycle usage and complimentary other scheduled services. What we like about this is that all meals are taken care of, so we need not worry about where to eat! Instead, simply show up at the various restaurants in Sofitel and select your favourite dishes.
We felt at home immediately upon arriving at our room. It was spacious and beautifully furnished and we especially loved that they paid attention to making their customers’ stay as luxurious as possible. From the cushy rugs to the lighting, the room really made us feel cosy and relaxed. They even provided a rollaway bed for the comfort of our helper.
Family-friendly hotel resort
Moreover, the staff provided us with a baby cot for our little girl and it was great because it was relatively larger compared to many other hotels’. There was a lot of space where Ally could play in! What’s even better is that they provide various kid-friendly activities where little ones can participate during the stay, so mummies and daddies can enjoy some R&R on their own. It’s important to have some couple time too!
Baby Ally in her cot
While the room was definitely relaxing on its own, of course, we had to explore Sofitel’s other amenities as well. We headed straight to their huge pool, a hidden gem located right in the heart of the hotel. The ambience there was so amazing, thanks to the lush greenery surrounding us and some big palm trees swaying in the breeze. We really enjoyed frolicking by the pool – even baby Ally had a blast splashing around!
Gastronomic adventure
There are actually a lot of restaurants inside the hotel, but we opted to have lunch and dinner at Kwee Zeen. I am a big fan of Indian food so I knew that I had to try their Butter Chicken with Garlic Naan. And, it did not disappoint! I loved every bite of it. Kwee Zeen’s buffet dinner was pretty good as well – the free-flow fresh prawns and delectable sushi were the standout dishes.
In case you want to enjoy a spectacular view on top of amazing dishes, we suggest that you also try having dinner at The Cliff. They have an exquisite Italian spread and we opted to have their braised beef cheek and mushroom and caramelised onion pizza. For dessert, we had the Torta Mousse Al Cioccolato which was heavenly for a chocolate lover like myself. Our little girl had a little misadventure during dinnertime so thankfully, the staff helped us to send up our desserts when we had to go back to the room to change Baby Ally. We really appreciate the great service!
Overall, Sofitel Singapore Sentosa had great service, ambiance, and amenities. Definitely a must-go-to if you find yourself being too cooped up in the city!

9. The Vagabond Club, Tribute Portfolio
Indulgent staycation experience for decadent cuisines and exotic alcohol
Featuring one of Singapore’s high-end whiskey bars, Vagabond Club Hotel is truly within a class of its own. And since it is housed in a vintage 1950s Art Deco building right in the heart of Singapore’s Central Heritage District, this luxurious boutique hotel also brings you closer to some of the most famous landmarks on the island. The hotel’s interiors are designed by the world-renowned Parisian architect and interior designer Jacques Garcia, so of course, you can only expect that the overall atmosphere feels completely Parisian-chic!
Our family recently stayed at the Junior Executive Club Suite at the Vagabond Club and we love how pampered we were during our holiday. The suite was lined with some of Vagabond’s most opulent amenities, including a King-sized bed with a cult Rosewood mattress, in-room skylights, and an Italian marble and glass mosaic bathroom filled with exquisite diptyque bath amenities (from the iconic Parisian brand!). Also, our accommodation came with complimentary Executive Club Lounge access, which is probably one of the main highlights of our stay.
As expected, The Whiskey Library found in the Club Lounge was absolutely gorgeous, with many rare, bespoke whiskey bottles displayed. A wonderland for whiskey and cocktail lovers, every hotel guest can kick off their nights with such delight! I personally tried the Spice Road and Escape to Kaifeng cocktails which are whiskey and gin-based respectively, and the two were top-notch. Special thanks to Rosanna for the really great cocktails, as well as Praha for the wonderful hospitality at the lounge. As part of Executive Lounge, they even offered us afternoon tea snacks which included a small delicious bowl of hor fun, and mini mushroom pie which was really decadent.
Home to mouth-watering Chinese cuisine
While the hotel’s interiors alone are very noteworthy, we would like to commend their amazing food selection as well. We had a sumptuous meal at Yellow Pot, a Chinese restaurant in the middle of the hotel, and the Grass-Fed Beef Tenderloin we ate was simply phenomenal. It was tender and mouthwatering, with fried garlic bits perfectly complementing the beef pieces. Be sure to order the Braised Sweet & Sour Eggplant as well! I do not usually eat eggplant that often, but this was probably the best eggplant dish I have ever eaten.
We also tried their Signature Roast Duck and Crabmeat Ee-fu Noodles and every single bite was a tantalising experience for our taste buds. The roast duck’s skin is perfectly crisp and matches the plum sauce really well. Even if you are not staying in the hotel, we highly, highly recommend that you try dining in at Yellow Pot.

10. Duxton Reserve Singapore, Autograph Collection
5-star boutique staycation with incredibly delectable meals
Travel back in time to the 19th century with Duxton Reserve Singapore, Autograph Collection. This award-winning hotel from The Garcha Group boasts a design harmonious with the rich Asian history, designed by Bond girl turned interior designer, Anouska Hempel both inside and outside. Guests are in for an elegant surprise when they enter the hotel, wherein large theatrical golden fans, strong hues of black, gold and yellow, layered with Oriental screens and unique, calligraphy wallpapers welcome everyone. And since it is situated at the heart of the bustling Tanjong Pagar and Singapore’s Chinatown, you definitely won’t miss Duxton Reserve while passing around this storied neighbourhood.
A single glance at the hotel’s ornate facade will immediately give you its strong Asian character. Duxton Reserve, Autograph Collection boasts 49 guestrooms and suites, each with unique individuality so that no two are exactly the same. And just recently, we stayed in Duxton Reserve’s Opium Suite, a very cosy room that gives off vibes on how opium dens looked like in the past, except perhaps with a touch of modern flair. The main highlight for us, though, was the suite’s minibar. Probably the best and most well-stocked we’ve ever seen!
Impressive selection of cocktails
The minibar was very well-stocked, and with the great variety of alcoholic drinks in there, you can actually host your own mini party inside the suite. There are also gorgeous crystal cocktail glasses that we really love; lightly clank the glasses together and you will hear a mesmerising sound.
If you’d rather go to an actual bar to have some drinks, head over to Duxton Reserve’s signature bar, Anouska’s, which offers drinks around the world that are famous during the disco era of the 70s and 80s. As an ode to the hotel’s overall Asian theme, most cocktails at Anouska’s are infused with various teas and ingredients that are integral to Chinese medicine. And true enough, we tried Anouska’s Sling, Duxton Reserve’s take on the famous Singapore Sling, and we loved every bit of it. Tanqueray Gin-based, this cocktail is great for those who love citrus flavours. Even better, the Sling has Chinese Yuzu and Hibiscus in its mix! For mocktails, we recommend The Kaifeng or the Hawthorn & Hibiscus.
Indulgent contemporary Chinese cuisine in a refined setting
As much as we loved the hotel’s cocktails, nothing beats the experience we had at the romantic black and gold Yellow Pot restaurant. Next door to the bar, indulgent and authentic Chinese food awaits in a refined setting. The food here is really good and their contemporary take on our favourite traditional Chinese dishes is very noteworthy! We highly, highly recommend the Yellow Pot Indulgence set menu for dinner, wherein Treasures of the Sea and the seafood platter were the main highlights for us. We also had a fusion dessert, which consisted of a bee pollen ice cream and crispy red bean wok pancake. Really summed up a delicious meal!
We also enjoyed the continental breakfast we had the following morning. The freshly pressed orange juice was truly fresh and they also have cold-pressed organic juices available. I absolutely loved the perfectly golden, crisp buttery croissant with Le Beurre Bordier butter and eggs benedict with premium Italian Prosciutto di Parma ham. Meanwhile, Joce had buttermilk pancakes. Really incredibly mouth-watering food here at Duxton Reserve Singapore! We’d definitely love to go back just for the food, and of course, the impeccable service and overall vibe of the hotel.

13. The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, Presidential Suite
With its roots dating back to 1928, The Fullerton Hotel Singapore is a unique masterpiece that combines the best of the past and the present. Now, as a magnificent heritage hotel, the building boasts distinguished Doric columns and monumental porte cocheres – the epitome of neoclassicist architecture in Singapore. As you enter the grand entrance, high, coffered ceilings and Italian marbled floors would welcome you, which feels like you are walking in a contemporary art gallery. And since The Fullerton is elegantly situated along the stunning Marina Bay waterfront, you can only imagine the breathtaking view you’d see once you are inside their hotel suites.
Exemplary suite at the heart of Singapore
If you are a Singapore native, the Presidential Suite is what you see on the Level 2 of the hotel – the one with the tall Doric columns and enclosed glass veranda.
