2. Pelynoobakes

pelynoobakes - best tart shops singapore

Down-to-earth, home-made quality tarts

With the festive season approaching, Pelynoobakes’ sweets are perfect for stocking up on. The home-based store sells oatmeal cookies, Goldflakes, and Chouquettes, but the Nutella Tarts are their bestseller. This light and buttery tart is like a cookie base with a dollop of pure Nutella on top, and it’s rather addictive. Its richness and creaminess complement the crisp, yet melty “sand” cookie-style crust, which is flecked with a good pinch of salt. The tart itself is not overly brittle and can be picked up, but it simply melts in your mouth with each delightful bite! Pelynoobakes might seem ordinary, without any unique or special ingredients. However, it is their simple and homey nature that makes them so delightful to munch at any time.

While all the bakes are available in single jars or bags, the tarts are also available in bundles of three, five, and ten jars if you want to stock up. Each tub includes 42-46 tarts and should be eaten within 2 weeks of purchase. The delivery charge is $8, but it is waived for orders above $88.
