Inspired by a bird’s nest, the WET Deck offers a unique treetop perspective of Kuala Lumpur. 4. Taste your way through Kuala Lumpur

W Kuala Lumpur brings the city’s vibrant dining scene to life with its selection of dining venues. We especially enjoyed dining at YEN, where we sampled their take on Cantonese classics—a great choice for families.

What we tried:

• Braised Homemade Spinach Bean Curd, Assorted Seafood, Shimeji Mushrooms
• Wok Fried Egg White, Sabah Lobster Meat, Dried Hokkaido Scallop
• Baked Cod Fish, Organic Sea Salt, Red Onion Oil
• Durian Pancake & Ice Cream, Sea Salt Coconut Crumble
• Lemongrass Infused Ai-Yu Jelly, Natural Peach Resin, Yuzu Pearl

The roasted Peking duck was definitely our favourite. The staff even helped wrap the crispy duck skin and tender duck meat in the wheat pancakes for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. It was absolutely delicious! The baked cod fish was another highlight and a big hit with the kids—they loved it so much they kept asking for more. Joce also enjoyed the durian pancake for dessert, while my refreshing Ai-Yu jelly proved to be an equally popular choice for everyone at the table.

Meanwhile, for breakfast, you can order some local specials like Roti Bakar with Soft Boiled Egg. It was so good and perfectly matched with a hot cup of Teh tarik. There is also a big selection of fresh Malaysian juices! A great way to start your day!

Other dining options at W Kuala Lumpur include Flock, an all-day dining restaurant showcasing colourful creations inspired by the flavours of Pan-Asian cuisine in Kuala Lumpur.
