For breakfast, guests are treated to a sumptuous spread of delectable options, including a must-try reef fish and salmon tartare, known for its impeccable flavours and freshness. When it comes to the dinner buffet at Plates, prepare to be blown away by the culinary prowess of talented chefs like Executive Chef Prabhash Prabhakaran. However, if you are travelling with your family, we highly recommend booking a Two Bedroom Family Beach Pool Villa. Offering abundant space, it features a unique jacuzzi and waterfall feature that sets it apart from others. There is even a helper’s room if you plan on bringing them to help take care of the little ones. As night falls, the pool area transforms into a celestial wonderland with twinkling lights, creating a magical atmosphere. And if you have kids with you, it will be much easier for them to go and play with the sand as the villa has a direct pathway towards the beach. 

To further enhance the experience of luxury and pampered seclusion, all villas are serviced by a personal Villa Host 24 hours a day. Ifoo, our butler, was absolutely amazing. He ferried us everywhere in the resort with a buggy, and made all the necessary arrangements for all our trip activities. He really made us feel well taken care of, and even got us so many gifts, from baby toys (a manta ray and a seal pup!)  to resort bags, caps, and resort pouches. It was the first time that we got so many gifts from just one resort, so we definitely have him to thank for making us feel like VIPs.

Families with little kids visiting Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas are sure to have the time of their lives. From the moment they step foot inside, they will be greeted with endless adventures and joyful experiences. The trampoline park, available from 4pm to 6pm, is an absolute must-visit, boasting the largest trampoline we have ever seen at a resort, complete with three basketball hoops for added excitement. Our daughter Ally had a blast, and we can only imagine the joy it would bring to older kids. 

In addition to the trampoline park, the resort’s Kids Club also features a rock climbing wall, a water play area, a playground, plus an indoor area with tons of toys and mega Lego blocks for babies. You can even go on a pirate adventure with your little ones and hunt for treasure on another island! It is definitely the best bonding activity for families.

10. Relax in a luxurious seaplane lobby by Minor Hotels

The lounge for the seaplane at Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas was a delightful surprise. Provided by Minor Hotels, it offered a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. We were treated to a wide selection of refreshing fresh juices, aromatic coffee, exquisite TWG tea, delectable fruits, sandwiches, and mouthwatering desserts. It was the perfect oasis, especially since we would have missed lunch due to the transfer.

One of the highlights of the lounge was its location on level 3, providing a balcony with a picturesque view of the seaplanes. We could not resist capturing the moment with a stunning photo. The lounge also featured luxurious toilets and a dedicated nursing room for mothers and babies, ensuring comfort and convenience for all guests.

Our stay at Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in a world of luxury, beauty, and unparalleled hospitality. The resort’s stunning villas, breathtaking views, and exquisite culinary offerings left us in awe. The attentive and friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met, making us feel like VIPs throughout our entire stay. Whether we were lounging by our private pool, indulging in a rejuvenating spa treatment, or exploring the vibrant marine life, every moment was filled with pure bliss.
