A Fun Honeymoon Travel Guide to Seoul

Inspired by the Korean drama Winter Sonata? There is nothing like a romantic getaway to South Korea and your honeymoon is the perfect opportunity to spend quality time and enjoy the company of the one you love most.

South Korea is a popular destination for newlyweds and has many fascinating tourist attractions. There are many enthralling things to do in in the country, from culture, nature, and entertainment. If you are planning to have a memorable honeymoon, here are some of the best tourist attractions you can visit in this Land of the Morning Calm:

  • N Seoul Tower
  • Gamcheon Culture Village
  • Seongsan Ilchulbong
  • Lotte World
  • Vivaldi Park Ski World

N Seoul Tower

N Seoul Tower is a must-see landmark of Seoul, rising up from the summit of Namsan Mountain. N Seoul Tower is an attraction not to be missed for couples who want to soak in the romantic ambiance and to gaze upon the stunning city views.

Marvel at the city’s beautiful night landscape and get a panoramic view of Seoul from the top of N Seoul Tower.

Gamcheon Culture Village

Gamcheon Culture Village is famed as the ‘Santorini’ of the East, with many tourists flocking in to visit this little village in Busan. The village has it’s own artistic and historic charm, making it one of the most picturesque tourist destinations loved by photographers.

It is a long, long walk up the steep hills to Gamcheon Culture Village but everything looks surreal here with its brightly coloured terrace houses.

The cheerful blue, yellow, and pink hues of the brightly coloured terrace houses are spread out across the face of a steep hill looking out to the sea. Every corner of this little village is Instagram-worthy and Gamcheon Culture Village is an attraction worth visiting to put a lasting smile on your face.

Seongsan Ilchulbong

Seongsan Ilchulbong, also known as Sunrise Peak, is selected by UNESCO as one of the new 7 wonders of Nature. No trip to Jeju Island is complete without hiking up Seongsan Ilchulbong where the climb would take about 30 to 40 minutes depending on your speed.

This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers amazing views of the towns in Jeju and the higher you climb, the stronger the wind is.

The view is so scenic and beautiful that you will exclaim ‘WOW’! I love the feeling of the fresh air on my face and the wind blowing through my hair.

You will not regret making the hike up Seongsan Ilchulbong as you see this beautiful and magnificent sight with your own eyes. Better to see something once than to hear it a thousand times.

Lotte World

Lotte World is the largest indoor & outdoor theme park in the world. Visitors can enjoy various attractions like amusement rides, a folk museum, an ice rink, and the dazzling magic castle.

Lotte World features a wide range of attractions that cater and serve to every age group. There are more thrilling rides like French Revolution 2VR (high-octane attraction of roller coaster), Gyro Drop, and Gyro Swing, with drops of up to 70 meters for those wanting to test their bravery.

The indoor ice skating rink at Lotte World is in a fairyland setting under a beautiful glass dome. Spend a day at Lotte World and let that inner child in you come out and play.

Vivaldi Park Ski World

Vivaldi Park Ski World has been awarded as the most visited ski resort in South Korea for its state-of-the-art facilities and slopes suitable for all levels. During the winter season, Vivaldi Park is covered with beautiful white snow where every step you take through makes you feel young at heart again.
