I find that the interiors of Palace Gate Hotel & Resort reflect Cambodia’s tradition beautifully. The lobby is decorated to give a modern look and complemented with art and decor that reminisces Cambodia’s heritage. The deluxe rooms are tastefully decorated to give a modern Angkorian feel.
The rooms and suites fall into 6 categories – Royal deluxe room, Royal Suite with Balcony, Royal One or Two Bedroom Suite, as well as the Aspara Deluxe room and Aspara Suite which are located in Building B. All rooms are comfortably furnished to give you a pleasant stay.
The geometric tiled floors, bamboo furniture, ornate mirrors and traditional art aesthetically complement the Phnom Penh skyline views you see from your windows. The plush chairs and cosy rugs gave a homely feel to the room. During our stay, we stayed at the Royal Suite that came with a beautiful balcony allowing us to enjoy the pool view, which was a great way to bide our afternoon.

After a long day exploring the city, head back to the Sky Bar or the pool to treat yourself to a refreshing cocktail.
