The chef can really cook, plus, he can also prepare the food before and after your wedding day. All you need to do is pre-buy your groceries and order from the menu and the chef will take care of the rest. Trust us, the cost is totally worth it! You only pay for the groceries plus a small 20% handling fee.

For the menu, we highly recommend ordering the poolside BBQ for your wedding party. The grilled fish was incredibly decadent, the jumbo prawns and squids were fresh and succulent, and the beef tenderloin and striploin were cooked to perfection. The chef also cooks Indonesian food amazingly well, which even the Indonesian helpers we brought along agreed on. The sambal matah was simply heavenly, and the best bit is that you can match it with almost everything! 

6. Experience top-notch care from the lovely staff

With Sohamsa Ocean Estate’s talented chef, it is no surprise that the rest of the villa staff are just as impressive. We felt really well taken care of during our stay. The villa manager, Pak Bayu, was incredible, along with his team of 13 members who were incredibly attentive and professional throughout our stay. They were always on standby to provide us with whatever we needed, but also knew when to give us space to enjoy our vacation. Pak Bayu even helped us with changing money, buying diapers for our little ones, buying extra wine, drinks, snacks, and more. Moreover, there are 3 butlers throughout the day from morning until 11 pm – all of whom are just a phone call or text away.
