1. See the Magnificent Underground Rivers in Puerto Princesa
Puerto Princesa Underground River is in the Subterranean River National Park located at the Sabang port. It is 80 kilometers north of the Puerto Princesa City Center; and definitely one of the stops you shouldn’t miss.
Tours at the cave usually start by using canoe that can take up to 9 passengers including the guide. Passengers will also use life jackets and hard hats. Once you get inside, the place is totally dark but there is a torchlight provided in the front seat. Most species you’ll see inside are bats and cave Swiftlets. As the guide navigates you through the cave, it is time for you to amaze and use your imagination as you see different rock formations everywhere in the cave. Tour A includes stops at the famous Big or Small Lagoon, Secret Lagoon, Shimizu Island and Seven Commandos Island; and Tour C which includes Hidden Beach, Matinloc Shrine, Talisay Island, Secret Beach and Helicopter Island. Remember to request for the Big Lagoon if you are joining Tour A.

The caves in Tabon are elevated up to 100 meters at its highest point. The four caves in Tabon will give you a wonderful experience seeing 22 thousand years old of a human skull and 47 thousand years old of jewelry and pottery which is evidence that people lived in this place a long time ago.
