Upon stepping into this quaint restaurant, we were immediately transported to another world – one filled with neoclassical colonial charm. The classy and intimate atmosphere made the venue worthy of a romantic Pinterest wedding.

Situated in the centre of the restaurant is a beautiful courtyard that makes a perfect venue for an outdoor solemnization. Solemnizations held at this spot are incredibly dreamy and you can expect perfect Instagrammable shots. We will let the photos do the talking.

What is a celebration without good food? Prior to our visit to Senso Ristorante & Bar, we heard much of the delicious and authentic Italian cuisine they serve to their customers. 10Best says it is “one of Singapore’s best-loved Italian restaurants” and Expat Living gives it a thumbs up for its “no-nonsense good food”.

With its dedication to serving high quality fine Italian dining and to maintaining excellent atmosphere and service, Senso Ristorante & Bar has earned itself a good name. The restaurant has received many awards and accolades, which include “Best regarded Italian restaurants in Singapore”, by Lonely Planet, “Singapore’s Finest Restaurants” and “Best Ambience” by Wine and Dine, and “Top rated Italian restaurant” by Tatler Asia.

Many online reviews rave about their Sunday Prosecco Brunch ($98++) that features a galore of Italian brunch favourites such as freshly baked Italian bread, cheeses, hams, salami, seafood such as sashimi, oysters and prawns. The spread also features appetisers, soups, pasta and mains served in petite portions so you get to taste everything on the menu. And it does not stop there. Sunday brunch is never complete without Prosecco. Wines, beer, soft drinks, coffee and tea are also on the free-flow menu.

So speaking of raised expectations, you can only imagine how excited we were to head down to Senso Ristorante & Bar to taste their wedding menu. And safe to say, we were not disappointed at all.

We were served a 5-course menu which featured chef recommendations like the Avruga Caviar with Salmon Tartare, the Porcini & Pesto Risotto, Grilled Lamb and Sea Bass Fillet. Every dish was rich and flavourful in their own way. A tantalising Lemon Meringue Tart wrapped up the scrumptious meal.

4. A relaxing ambience

Apart from the exquisite dishes and enchanting ambience, the charm of Senso lies in its staff. Despite it being a fine-dining restaurant, the service you receive here is friendly and warm, which allows for you and your guests to feel relaxed and at ease. It makes the venue perfect for a cosy and intimate wedding celebration.

Besides providing a splendid dining experience, the team at Senso can also assist you with wedding-related requests such as floral and decor arrangements as well as rental of audio or video equipment, making it a fuss-free planning experience for you.

5. Versatile spaces in a convenient location

Within Senso lies several spaces that you can utilise and easily transform for your wedding day. Apart from the romantic outdoor courtyard (24 pax seated and 60 standing), there is the reception and bar area (30 seated, 80 standing) which would make a great area for registration and cocktails. The main dining room (100 seated, 150 standing) is a great space for a wedding dinner. Otherwise, you can opt for their wine cellar (20 seated, 30 standing) or bar lounge private room (30 seated, 80 standing) for an even more intimate setting.
