For those travelling with little ones like we did, the Two-Bedroom Suite was an absolute dream – generously sized for our baby Abby to crawl freely, while Ally and Aaron had plenty of room to play. The fully equipped kitchenette, complete with an induction stove, microwave, fridge, pots, pans, and even wine glasses, made daily living easy and enjoyable.

If there is one thing we must highlight – it is the outstanding buffet spreads, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The variety, quality, and attention to detail are truly impressive. The breakfast porridge alone is worth waking up for, with its smooth consistency and comforting taste. Another breakfast fave was the dim sum – it was so good! Special mention goes to the talented Chinese chef, whose dim sum stands out with authentic flavours and delicate textures, way above what you would typically find at many luxury hotel chains. 

For dinner, the premium buffet selection is an absolute must-try. The menu highlights are adjusted seasonally, so you can always try something new.  From generous servings of foie gras, perfectly cooked tenderloin (be sure to request medium rare!), and fresh lobster, to a lavish spread of seafood including prawns, mussels, oysters, and crabs—the variety is unmatched. Guests can also enjoy Japanese favourites, succulent roasted suckling pig, lamb chops, live teppanyaki and Italian stations, and an array of traditional Thai desserts. And to top it all off? Unlimited Häagen-Dazs ice cream—a sweet ending to an unforgettable dining experience.

Adding here for wellness: the gym! Aside from having state-of-the-art equipment and other complimentary amenities, we liked how they offer snacks as well. You can have some quick bites in between your workout to fuel your sesh!

Not a fan of the water? Simply lounge around indulging in the spectacular views and sun-soaked vibes with a refreshing drink from the poolside bar Flow Lounge. And speaking of poolside lounging, we truly appreciated the small gesture Joce received during our stay. As she was sitting by the pool,  a staff member quietly offered her some popcorn, unprompted. A small, unexpected moment that beautifully reflects the attentive, intuitive service that defines the Chatrium Grand Bangkok experience.

All in all, the level of service at Chatrium Grand Bangkok is truly exceptional, especially considering its price point. Under Chatrium Hospitality, the team was consistently outstanding—anticipating needs before they were even voiced, and delivering thoughtful touches that made the stay feel genuinely special. What truly stood out was not just the professionalism, but also the warmth and sincerity of the staff, which made every interaction feel personal and heartfelt. As mentioned earlier, it’s the little details that make a big difference. Thanks to the amazing team for creating such a memorable experience!

7. A fun escape for the kids 

We were not the only ones who thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chatrium Grand Bangkok—even the kids had an unforgettable time, thanks to the hotel’s fantastic Kids Club. Designed as a vibrant and engaging space for children of all ages, the Kids Club quickly became a highlight of the trip. Our little Ally and Aaron love the little slide and the bouncy giraffes. In fact, they visited the Club three times in total and always asked to go back!

For shopping lovers, Siam Paragon, CentralWorld, and Platinum Fashion Mall are all within easy reach, making retail therapy a breeze. One thoughtful touch we especially appreciated was the complimentary buggy service to Siam Paragon (one of the biggest, if not the biggest, mall in Bangkok!)—a game-changer when travelling with kids. It made grocery runs quick and easy, allowing us to fully enjoy the convenience of our in-suite kitchenette.
