Some bedrooms even have a balcony where you can enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in the breathtaking scenery. Honestly, this is one of the best parts of staying in a private villa. Feels incredibly surreal! 

Of course, it will not be a complete Balinese experience without the presence of beautiful open-air bathrooms. Here at Villa Kapungkur, you will find outdoor bathtubs where you can really unwind and relax. You can even ask their staff to draw a flower bath for you for the ultimate relaxation.

You can even bring along some drinks and games to play with! We particularly enjoyed spending time here at night, as the cool Bali breeze added to the already lovely atmosphere.

For those who prefer to hang out indoors, Villa Kapungkur also has an enclosed living area that could comfortably accommodate a large group. There is a huge plasma TV with Netflix inside so you and your party can also have a movie marathon session in this cosy space. Moreover, it is adorned with plenty of Balinese elements, but what we love the most is the stunning fish tank at the centre of the room. The fishes were such a delight to watch – even our little Ally adored the little fishes swimming by! 

Since we were travelling with kids, the villa staff helped to set up a mini play area inside this indoor living space which we truly appreciate. Complete with mats and toys, our little ones had a blast during our stay, making it a memorable experience for both kids and adults alike. It felt like having our very own exclusive Kids’ Club crafted especially for us, although we did not stay in a huge 5-star hotel.

Our stay was made truly better with Villa Kapungkur’s exceptional staff. They welcomed us with the warm Balinese hospitality we have always enjoyed while on this island. We are especially thankful to Mr Ram, the villa manager, who always went above and beyond to keep us safe, comfortable, and right at home during our stay. He even helped us make coffee every day! We also appreciate how he and his staff helped us with all our luggage and set up the extra beds for our huge team. They also helped to arrange for baby cots and baby bathtubs to be set up in rooms for our little ones.
