5. Phuket, for an island honeymoon

Phuket needs very little introduction. Being the largest island in Thailand, this famous Thailand honeymoon destination features powdery beaches, high-end seaside resorts, upscale restaurants, spas, busy markets, and an exciting nightlife scene. Phuket is an ideal base to explore famed and idyllic offshore islands like Phang Nga Bay and Phi Phi Islands. The Phi Phi Islands is Thailand’s superstar and will be part of any itinerary, especially if you are visiting Phuket or Krabi. Its vivid turquoise waters are a beautiful sight. It’s even been in the movies! Maya Bay at Phi Phi Leh is where The Beach featuring Leonardo Di Caprio was filmed. 

As Phuket transportation can get expensive, I suggest pre-booking a private transfer ahead of time to save money and waiting time. Also, tour Phuket with convenience by booking your own private charter.

If you are up for favourable beach weather, schedule your trip from December to March for the least amount of rain and most sun.

Located between Phuket and Krabi, Koh Phi Phi is an escape for a couple who strives for a world-class beach vacation. One of the most stunning is its famous Maya Bay. When visiting Sukhothai, you will expect to explore ancient ruins. Thus, avoid visiting during the rainy season range from July to October, as it can ruin your days. November to January is a great time to visit Sukhothai for dry but less warm weather.

November to January is a good time to visit. However, if you prefer hot weather for sunbathing at the beach, visit Koh Lipe from March to April.
