Awarded as the UNESCO World Heritage City, Sukhothai is the birthplace of Thai art, architecture, and culture. Through the ages, Sukhothai still maintains its homely atmosphere for anyone visiting. Don’t miss a visit to the outstanding 15-meters tall Buddha at Wat Si Chum because it’s what the city is known for. Our favorite was a trip to Si Satchanalai National Park where we surprisingly got to see a beautiful sunset. The trip of Thailand honeymoon to Sukhothai truly resembled the meaning of Sukhotai, “the Dawn of Happiness”.
