Top Wedding Venues in the Philippines to Suit Your Wedding Themes
1. Beach Wedding Venues
Recommended Venue: Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort & Spa
Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort & Spa is the only international five-star resort in the area, making it an ideal location for a beach wedding. You can exchange your vows at a pavilion that has a breathtaking overview of nature. You can have the reception on the beach afterwards, where you and your guests can dine under the stars.
2. Garden Wedding Venues
3. Sunset Wedding Venues
Recommended venue: Stilts Calatagan Beach Resort
Only three hours away from bustling Metro Manila lies the blissful shores of Stilts Calatagan Beach Resort in Batangas. If you’d like to walk down the aisle with white sand between your toes and a flaming sunset as your backdrop, this is the place to be. Set amidst 24 hectares of rolling hills, Stilts Calatagan boasts three beautiful beaches. Harmony Beach is a long stretch of coastline lined with open huts and beachfront cottages where you can bask in the sun and enjoy lots of activities. Serenity Beach has big trees and wooden tables and benches, perfect for hosting weddings and romantic proposals. For those craving for some quiet time, Destiny Beach is a haven with its Instagram-worthy rock formations and intimate atmosphere.
Besides its abundance of shorelines, this resort also has several unique accommodations. On our first night, we stayed in their signature floating cottage called Dreams. This cottage hovers over clear blue water on stilts, giving you an uninterrupted view of the glittering horizon. You can even dive right into the water from the deck! We enjoyed the breakfast buffet out on the patio surrounded by the wonderful sea breeze. On our second night, we transferred to Eternitree, a traditional Filipino-style hut nestled on sturdy branches of a giant tree! This tree house accommodation is honestly unlike any other. It can fit three people and the height gave us a magnificent view of the surroundings.
One thing that we highly recommend is their in-room massage. The expert hands of the masseuse kneaded all our tension away, leaving us so satisfied that we requested for another session the next night! As for activities, we had a lot of fun riding ATVs through rugged ATV course.. The sandbar tour, which involved riding and snorkeling out of a Philippine outrigger boat, was also enjoyable.
For your wedding or honeymoon, Stilts Calatagan will customize a package that’ll fit your dream ceremony. The high level of attention that the staff gave us made this stay one of the most comfortable we’ve had. Indeed, Stilts Calatagan Beach Resort’s island paradise vibe makes it the perfect escape that’s not far from the metro.
